You may have seen our `live draws` on this page periodically which involves someone in the nursing office, usually Amanda B, pulling some numbers out of a bag.....you might wonder what this is all about?!!
Well it`s our 100 Club!! It`s a monthly draw where you could win cash prizes all for an investment of £4 a month. With a lot of our regular fundraising unable to go ahead, this is an important income stream for us right now so if you haven`t taken part but would like to find out more details please take a look here:
https://www.hccn.org.uk/100-club/

We would love to have you join us and any questions, please message this page!

A note from the trustees:

We would just like to put into perspective what these nurses have done and continue to do every day. They have worked solidly throughout this pandemic, taking on additional patients to avoid people having to go into hospital for tests and treatment, going into peoples homes to provide not only medical interventions, but emotional support for patients and their families at what has been a difficult time for them, not only with a cancer diagnosis, but the biggest health crisis of a generation.

They are covering more miles, seeing more patients than ever and yet today they went out on their day off to run in filthy wet conditions to raise money.....money that stays in this local area, supporting people with services to help them deal with, and hopefully recover, from cancer such as exercise classes, counselling and support groups as well as medical equipment that the NHS would love to fund but simply doesn`t have the cash right now.....that`s where we step in.

These nurses are incredible anyway but right now they are going well above and beyond their duty to Huntingdonshire. They have raised an amazing amount and we know they are sitting at home, hopefully drinking a warm hot chocolate, still watching their fundraising total increase.

If you haven`t yet donated, please consider doing this and share this message far and wide to let everyone know how lucky we are where we live to have true heroes.

Jan, Sallie, Amanda (& we know Susan would have said the same)
