Bringing support closer to home in St Neots

Something new is happening every Thursday in St Neots and we’re delighted to share it with you.

Thanks to support from St Neots Town Council, HCCN has launched a brand-new weekly activities group at The Eatons Community Centre in Eaton Socon. These sessions are open to any adult 18+ living with or beyond cancer, and offer a space to move, connect and take a moment for yourself, all in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Each Thursday afternoon, two evidence-based activity classes will take place at 3pm and 4pm, led by qualified instructors. On the second Thursday of each month, a drop-in session runs from 2:30-5:30pm, with cuppas, conversation, and Tai Chi taster sessions (mat and seated) on offer. No booking needed, just come along and join in.

Why St Neots?

Following the success of our Sawtry group, we listened to feedback and recognised the need for more accessible support across the region. By launching a regular presence in St Neots, we’re helping more people find wellbeing and connection closer to home.

We’re so pleased to bring our services to the St Neots area,” said Sarah, HCCN’s Operations Manager. “Our aim is to reach every corner of the district with meaningful, practical support that empowers people affected by cancer to live their best life.”

What to Expect Each Week:

  • Tailored wellness activities including Tai Chi and Qi-Gong
  • A warm, friendly space to chat and connect
  • Drop-in support and taster sessions monthly
  • A chance to meet others and learn more about HCCN’s wider services

💙 Want to join in?

You’re welcome to pop along to the Drop-In on the 2nd Thursday, or if you’d like to sign up for an activity session, just email us at info@hccnthecharity.org and we’ll get you started.

📣 Help us spread the word!

Do you know someone in St Neots or nearby who might benefit from this new weekly group? Please share this with them, your voice helps us reach more people who need support.

Following the great success of our Sawtry Mondays and Get Active sessions at One Leisure in St Neots and St Ives, it’s clear that accessible, local support makes a real difference. Launching this new weekly presence in St Neots is another step in making sure no one has to face cancer alone.

This is an exciting moment for HCCN as we continue growing our reach and responding to what our community needs.

Together, we’re making it easier for people to live their best life despite cancer, wherever they are in Huntingdonshire. 💙
